"Diamond Tears" A woman smokes a cigarette, her hair is on fire like she’s ready to burn it all down. Her heart is exposed, her lungs gray from smoking. A tiger watches over her shoulder. Not a threat, but a protector. Over the other shoulder is an ornate eye that drips diamond tears, admiring her but also mourning something lost. In the distance, women lounge carefree in the sun. One young and beautiful, the other older and comfortable in her skin. Tigers move between them, but no one seems worried. A snake is hidden, a sign of coming betrayal. Nearby, a silhouette of a man in a hat and trench coat steps through a door, about to bring all of this to a halt. In the background is a Victorian beach town, a reminder of the past as the women bask in the possibilities of the future. Dark clouds loom and seagulls circle above, ready to eat the scraps of whatever remains.
